Archers competing in the event must be available on Sunday at conclusion of the Afternoon Session in the event of a tie to compete in a shoot-off to determine the winner. In the event of a tie and one of the participants does not shoot in the shoot-off they forfeit their position and end with the next lowest place.

Payouts will be determined after total scores are combined and field is flighted.
How the Payout works – EXAMPLE ONLY – WILL CHANGE DEPENDING ON HOW MANY ARCHERS REGISTER…. AGAIN.. EXAMPLE ONLY. Payouts will be in $CASH$ and paid during awards approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour after the final round on Sunday.
Flights are what we call a “BLIND FLIGHT”. This means we take the total number of archers and divide them into groups of 10. Each group of 10 is considered a Flight. The flights then pay according to how many archers registered for that division.
Doing the “Blind Flight” system we try to avoid the common “Vegas Sandbag” scenario. In the spirit of competition we hope that everyone would shoot to their ability and not try to beat the system.
2018 Flights Payout Example -
2018 Corner Cup had 35 Compound Men Open.
1 Place paid for every 3 archers registered.
35/3 = 11 paid places.
There were 4 Flights consisting of archers 1-10/11-20/21-30/31-35.
Places 1/2/3, 1/2/3, 1/2/3, & 1/2 were paid as a result.
Flights - 50% Payback
Flights will be divided into groups of 10 archers. Payouts are to be determined by how many people register for each division. Total payout and payout scale will be posted prior to the shoot. Payouts are one place per 3 archers in a flight.
Example #1 with 20 registered archers:
Flight #1
1 - 10 Archers
Flight #2
11 - 20 Archers
Championship - 100% Payback
Pays 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Example - Pays three (3) places at 50%/30%/20%
Example - 10 Archers
$100.00 Entry * 100% = $100.00 per Archer
$100.00 * 10 Archers = $1000.00
1st Place = $500.00
2nd Place = $300.00
3rd Place = $200.00
